About us

We are a community of people singing shape note songs together in the Sacred Harp tradition. Sacred Harp is a participatory singing practice open to all. We sing with no accompaniment, reveling in loud human voices. Most of the lyrics are from the Protestant Christian tradition, but participants of all or no faiths are welcome. All our events are free and come-and-go as you please. No experience, talent, or commitment required.

Loaner books and impromptu beginner lessons are always available. All events are free - just show up and sing!
